HarrisonChief of Police
Jeffrey Harrison

Graduate of Genoa High School, attended Owens College and received an Associate Degree in Law Enforcement achieving Academic Honors. Jeffrey completed the Basic Police Academy at Owens earning awards for marksmanship. Jeffrey was employed as a Patrol Officer in 1995 and promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2003. Additionally, Jeffrey also serves as the departments firearms instructor, Radar & LIDAR instructor, Jeffrey has completed advanced training programs for Ohio Peace Officer Academy Instructor, First Line Supervision, Internal Affairs, DEA Drug Law Enforcement, Drug Identification & Testing, and Criminal Investigations. Jeffrey is an active member of the Ohio Chief of Police Association and serves on the patrolling chief's committee.

TiptonOfficer Jeremy Tipton

Graduate of Evergreen High School and Owens Community College obtaining his Ohio Peace Officers and Corrections Officers certificates. At Tiffin University, Jeremy received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Crime Analysis. Jeremy started in law enforcement with the Lucas County Sheriff's Office, working as a Contract Guard for the U.S. Marshals Service and a School Resource Officer at Whitmer High School and the Alternate Learning and Career Center. Jeremy served the State of Ohio as a Police Officer I. Jeremy taught criminal justice/social service classes at Brown Mackie College and Hocking College. Jeremy started with the Elmore Police Department in 2006 and currently serves as senior patrol officer. He is also a PhD candidate studying for his Doctor of Philosophy Criminal Justice at Walden University.

Officer Corbin Haas 

Graduate of Whitmer High School, attending the University of Toledo receiving a BS degree in criminal Justice in 2017. Corbin spent six years serving with the Ohio Army National Guard serving as a Specialist (E-4). Corbin previously worked for the Cedar Point and Pioneer Police Departments prior to coming to the Village Of Elmore. Corbin is currently assigned to patrol operations.   


Officer Laura Condon

Graduate of Bowling Green High School, attending Owens Community College receiving a Associates Degree in Business Management in 2016. Laura then attended the Basic Police Academy at Owens in 2017. Laura was hired by Toledo MetroParks and worked as a Park Ranger. Laura joined the Elmore Police Department in 2019 and worked in the patrol operations division prior to her current assignment at Woodmore High School as the school resource officer (SRO). Laura has received advanced training in A.L.i. C. E. instructor and Ohio School Resource Officers Association Basic Training. Laura is an active member of the OSROA.    


 Officer Samuel Kurp 

Graduate of Clay High School, attending Owens State Community College studying Criminal Justice. Samuel completed the Basic Police Academy in 2017 and started his career in Elmore that same year. Officer Kurp previously worked for the Village of Genoa Police Department. Officer Kurp is currently assigned to patrol operations. 


PART TIME OFFICERS

Officer Barney Spradling 
Graduate of Clay High School, attending Owens College for the Basic Police academy. Barney has served as a Patrol Officer for the Elmore Police Department since 1995. Barney is also a state certified volunteer firefighter and a HAZMAT technician.

Officer Brian Rankin 
Graduate of Libby High School, attending Owens Community College receiving an associate's degree in criminal justice. Brian has served as a Patrol Officer for the Elmore Police Department since 2000. Brian also works as a police officer for the Mercy Police Department.

Officer Michael Probst
Graduate of Pilgrim Christian School, and served in the United States Marine Corps for nine and a half years. Michael completed the Basic Police Academy at Owens Community College in 2019 and currently serves both the Village of Elmore as a patrol officer and Woodville as an auxiliary officer.
